I am a recent graduate of Arts University Bournemouth's Film Production course, specialising in directing, producing and screenwriting. Rouhi was one of our cohort's ten fiction graduation films, chosen from pool of over fifty pitches, and was made by an amazing crew of more than thirty young filmmakers. My passion for film however started long before university. I attended college in Dubai and won a best young filmmaker awards with Sony. Since the age of eighteen I have also been a film journalist and now critic at DiscussingFilm. When I joined three years ago we were a tiny outlet with just a couple of thousand followers, but now we have an audience of over half a million. I have had the pleasure of attending prestigious film festivals such as Venice as press as well as having interviewed some big names including Dave Franco and Richard E Grant to name a few.
