Hello, my name is Tyler Herren. I am a director, editor, writer, mixer, actor, and animator. Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to do film work. I started out making home movies when I was 6. Then, a few years later, I started doing YouTube gaming videos and comedy sketches. Finally, where I am now, I make cinematic short films to entertain audiences. Currently, I’m working on my Cinema and Media Arts major, while also working on future projects I have in mind. My first stop motion short film I made last year, “Brawl of the Beasts”, has won 4 awards and selected to be in 12 contests. My latest short film, “The Retrieval”, is the film featured in the Student World Impact Film Festival. My hope is that people see my films and become inspired to go out and make films of their own. All you need is a camera and a dream; with them, the possibilities are endless.
