Ronnel “Thirdy” Rivera III is a filmmaker based in Manila, Philippines. He graduated Cum Laude in Far Eastern University – Manila with a degree in Communication Arts. His love for film and advertisement productions started when he was a child. During his childhood, he enjoyed being a talent in different commercials and films. In 2017, he made his first short film ‘Fat You’ that tackles body-politics. It was premiered in SineKabataan Short Film Festival under Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino. Since its premiere, it began to make the nods of the audience which make it featured by various media outlets. Currently, he works freelance as a writer, director, art director and assistant director in various short film and advertisement productions locally.
